Today we took Daisy the dog for a walk along the riverbanks of Venn Quarry Woods in North Devon. We discovered a network of footpaths, meandering through carpets of wild garlic and primroses in the glorious sunshine, the ruins of a lime kiln and a lake which produced fabulous reflections of the surrounding trees.
